Who We Are

Dr. KH Kim is a tenured Full Professor of Creativity and Innovation at the College of William & Mary. She has dedicated her career to researching creativity and innovators and is a world-renowned expert. She discovered “The Creativity Crisis” in 2010 and authored its solution, The Creativity Challenge: How We Can Recapture American Innovation, in 2016.

She is crazy enough to dream of changing the world by replacing America's standardized-testing obsession and Asia's exam hell with educational programs that inspire individuals to be their happiest, most unique, and most compassionate selves.

She is co-editor of Creatively Gifted Students Are Not Like Other Gifted Students, The World Journal of Behavioral Science, and Creativity Network Newsletter. She serves on the editorial board of major journals in Education and Psychology including The Creativity Research Journal, The Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts, The Open Psychology Journal, and The World Journal of Behavioral Science.

Frequently sought after by the media, she has shared her expertise with numerous outlets including Newsweek, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, U.S. News & World Report, and others. She has won the Early Scholar Award and the Hollingworth Award from the National Association for Gifted Children, the Berlyne Award from the American Psychology Association, as well as the Torrance Award from the American Creativity Association.
